12/31/2022 0 Comments Juniper network connect yosemiteNetwork Connect log 19:21:06.144 ncproxyd New tunnel being created (tunnel.cpp:57) It seems as though the connection is established (since I lose internet access in this period) but it can't create a tunnel. Now although Network Connect launches it hangs at the "Establishing Secure Session" step. So I upgraded to the latest Java 8 build (and installed the JDK). I realized that was because of the Java 7 compatibility issue on Yosemite. All rights reserved.I know it's a bad idea to upgrade an OS so soon when you are running any enterprise software, especially related to security/vpns etc.īut I did! And I would like to avoid downgrading if possible.Įver since I upgraded to OS X Yosemite though, juniper's network connect (vpn client) stopped working. In a few weeks I will try to turn signature checking back on and see if the issue is resolved. After running the above command you need to restart your mac. The above command disables signature validation for ALL applications and packages - technically this is a security risk, but if you know and trust what you are installing it is not an issue. To disable the signature error on mac run: sudo nvram boot-args="kext-dev-mode=1" So the options are either revert to a previous version of Java (not going to happen) or ignore the signature error. In the logs I found an interesting message:ġ0/8/15 1:39:07.418 PM : ERROR: invalid signature for _tiger, will not loadīingo, the signature is not being accepted likely due to the Java update - which means an update to Network Connect is needed.
